ONG Coast Patrol Israel

🌊 For World Ocean Day, last June 8, 2022, we were reminded that the marine environment is in danger because of global warming, mostly from human causes.

This inspired us to share the story of the The Coast Patrol, an NGO, and their Zodiac Open.

They have been operating in Israel since 2020 to preserve and ensure a healthy, clean and vibrant marine environment. With 25 volunteers, The Coast Patrol aims to eliminate marine debris and ghost nets, report illegal commercial fishing, and fishing delinquency by trawlers.

We are the ones who shape the world of tomorrow, and how we care for our ocean. Their initiative is an example. If each mariner became aware of his or her harmful impacts on the sea, it would be less endangered–so if 25 of them can do it, so can 7 billion!

A great initiative that all countries should adopt in an effort to save our oceans 🙌
